I had the great pleasure of meeting Barbara
during my visit to New Zealand (she hosted one of my animal communication
workshops). I was very impressed with her integrity, wisdom,
skill and compassion for others. Barbara describes herself and her work: "I
was born in and grew up in Switzerland. After leaving school I completed an
apprentice ship as a horticulturist. Then went to Denmark for a year as an
exchange student, after my year in Denmark I decided to come to New Zealand
in 1979 also as an exchange student. After my time as an exchange student I
loved it here so much that I emigrated in 1981. At first I worked here as a
horticulturist, then as a commission buyer for florists, a teacher and
contractor
As I always had a passion for natural things
and nature, I started my studies as a homeopath at the Auckland College of
Classical Homeopathy in 1991and in 1995 I started my own clinic. I have a
strong connection with animals which has helped me to develop my skills as
an animal communicator, an invaluable tool in working with people and their
pets and finding good prescriptions for people and animals.
I carry out consultations in German
and English, over the phone and by e-mail. I have a wide range of clients
from all over New Zealand and from Texas to Switzerland and love working with
people and all kinds of animals. I am looking forward in the future to working

care. Its acceptance by major medical centres clearly demonstrates its value
in the healing process. Gentle non-invasive touch is used to influence and
support the human or animal energy system. This process can restore harmony,

animal's self healing process.
This process is comparable to "jump starting" a depleted battery. When our

in many parts of the world, specializing in High Tech surgery: oncology;
bone marrow transplant; disaster medicine; teaching and management. Living
outside of New Zealand for 20 years, working in private enterprise for 7
years, multicultural living, producing a family, racing motor cars, and
milking snakes for venom, have enhanced my world knowledge. I have a full
time practice based in Christchurch working as a Bioenergetic healer, a
Certified Healing Touch practitioner and Instructor with the objective of
introducing this work to as many people as possible, both in and outside the
health professions. I have a people practice, an animal practice (both
domestic and zoo) and teach Healing Touch Levels 1, 2 and 3 throughout New
Zealand.
My people practice includes all aspects of dis-ease through to the well
person maintenance. The animal practice has large numbers of horses both

I was the happy
recipient of an in-person Healing Touch session from Annis (and previously a

Sarah is a Chartered Holistic Animal Therapist and her clients include
companion animals and horses. Sarah participated in my basic animal
