[Not available
for consultations] Dr.
Dolores Sanchez-Peñalver, DiHom. (http://www.weim.net/homeovet/English/Bio.htm)
is a very knowledgeable and compassionate homeopathic veterinarian
who resides in Spain. Her website is chock full of fabulous information
regarding homeopathy, holistic care, vaccination issues, recommended reading
lists, various articles, and more.
In addition, she manages a
holistic Weimaraner list hosted by a private web server
http://www.weim.net
Barney is my youngest
Weimaraner (Barney's Story).
Because Barney was a rescue dog with many health problems
(hookworms, anemia, pneumonia, emaciation, malnutrition, etc.) she
graciously donated her time and extensive homeopathic knowledge to assist me
with his care. Her thorough review of his physical, emotional and mental symptoms
and makeup, and proper determination of
his constitutional remedy, achieved what I could only call a miracle.
Within 12 hours of his first dose, he was able to get off the couch on his own,
went outside and sunned himself. Previously he had to be lifted onto the couch
or bed because he was so ill and weak, and he did nothing but sleep. Of course,
the quick improvement in his acute condition was exactly what Dr. Sanchez-Peñalver
expected. When determined and applied correctly, homeopathy effects amazing
resolution of health issues. The more acute the issue, the faster the response
if the proper remedy is chosen. It effected great improvements in and
ultimately resolved Barney's health issues. He is a completely
different dog than the pitiful one I retrieved from the kind women who found him
wandering the streets of San Antonio in the rain. I fostered him for
Weimaraner Rescue of North Texas, then adopted him myself. Our home has been
forever changed by his presence.
Dr. Sanchez-Peñalver located many
of the holistic care chat-lists and websites below. If you know of holistic
sites not included below which would be useful to others, please let me know at

include it.
