Energy Work: Clearing and Balancing for Animals

ENERGY CLEARING AND BALANCING WORK ON ANIMALS

Two books I highly recommend are “Natural Pet Healing” and “Chakra Reading and Color Healing”, both by Von Braschler. You can order these through my site, see the Healing Energy book page.

The following is an example, using a medium sized dog. Modify accordingly for a horse (standing up). For birds and small mammals and small animals (cats and small dogs), do this energy work using one hand, not both, and do not push the energy at them like a laser beam, imagine it being like a breeze coming from a gently blowing fan – gentle, lightweight, not pressured.

It’s very easy to do energy clearing and balancing work; intent is the most important part of it. [I am going to use “her” as the gender in this example.] Have her lay down. Get yourself centered, take some slow deep breaths in through the nose and out through the mouth. Rub your palms briskly together to activate the chakras in the palms. Hold your hands about an inch above her body, starting with one hand over her heart and the other on her spine between her shoulder blades. Hold them there for a minute. Then slowly move the one hand down her spine, like you’re stroking her, but keep your hand about an inch above her body. When you get down to the hip/pelvic area, hold it there for a minute. Then finish moving your hand off her spine and down to the tip of the tail.

Now move both hands to the top of her head and slowly move down her spine and off the tip of her tail. Shake your hands to the side like you’re shaking water off of them. The idea is you’re drawing discordant energy off her body (from the physical and etheric bodies, actually), and realigning the energy in the spine and chakras to flow more smoothly.

Do this as many times as you are led to do so. Then place your hands over any area she is having trouble with. For example, along the back by the hips, and one over her stomach, and imagine you are drawing out any negative energy from those areas. Shake your hands off to the side. Do this as many times as it feels right.

Then place your hands in those positions again and imagine that there is green and white healing light entering through your crown chakra (top of the head), running down through your body and out through your hands into her body. Imagine the troubled area is being infused with this light. Do this as long as it feels appropriate.

Now bring in any other colors that feel appropriate for her, and send those to her. Do not force the energy at her, just let it flow gently through you. Allow her to take what she likes and needs, or reject it, as it suits her. Never force energy at an animal or require that they submit to healing energy work. If they get restless, stop. If they get up and walk away, don’t follow them. Some can only handle 30 seconds of it, some want 20 minutes. You can also do this work from a distance, across the room, just hold your palms out facing the animal, but do not force energy at them.

When you are finished, if you are working on the animal rather than from across the room, place your hands back at her head and draw them down along her spine, then from the top of the head down along her side and down the front leg(s). Then from the head down the side and down the back leg(s). Then from the chin down the throat and chest to the abdomen. Imagine (intend) that you are sealing in the healing energy. Do this as many times as feels appropriate.

Finally, if appropriate, find something green for her to lay on in a shade that intuitively feels appropriate to you as a complementary match to her energy. Don’t use muddy colors like olive or khaki green. Green has a lot of healing energy to it. If they don’t need it, they won’t be drawn to it. But it’s always nice to offer it for their use as needed.

Other colors can also be helpful. For more information on color therapy, see http://healing.about.com/cs/colortherapy/a/aa_colortherapy.htm and other sites on the web as well as books.
