Spirituality: Messages from the Divine

A Saint Spoke Through a Young Girl One Day

With Juelle and The Council (October 2007)

Our channel says that perhaps a saint spoke through a young girl one day. Or maybe the saint manifested as this young girl. Or maybe she was just wise beyond her years.

After all, it happened in India, home to the living saints. But this was different. It did not happen in an ashram, a sacred temple, along the ghats at the holy Ganges, or in the mystical Himalayas. It happened in one of their hotels.

Every day our channel and her partner would see this lovely young girl dressed in her colorful sari. The girl would cheerfully come up to them and say "Hello Madame, hello Sir." They would respond back and always ask the young girl "how are you today?" The first day the girl said "I am very good today Madame." And then she would ask if they would like to advantage of the services at the massage center. Our channel would say "maybe."

The second day they saw the young girl many times and the same conversation occurred with a little more elaboration. By the third day when our channel saw the young girl, they greeted each other as normal and when our channel asked "how are you today?" making polite conversation, the girl responded "Madame, I am always very fine every day."

And so began an on-going conversation with a young girl over many days with no more mention of massage services. They would talk of simple things, the rain, the tourists at the hotel, the ghats, saris, the history of the hotel and so on, chatting many times on every day.

On the seventh day something different happened when our channel saw the young girl. The conversation began the same as usual and then our channel noticed this beautiful young girl wearing a silver dolphin bracelet. The girl previously had only worn the usual plastic Indian bangles and never anything as dear as a silver dolphin. Our channel commented on how lovely the bracelet was and the young girl asked "do you like this?" Our channel responded "yes, very much" thinking only to compliment her choice, not thinking that often there is a custom to give the object of attention to the admirer. The young girl took off the bracelet and gave it to our channel saying "you may have this." Of course our channel said "oh no, no, I can not------."

The young girl said "Madame, this bracelet is but an item. Your joy to have this and my joy to give this to you is worth more than the item."

Pause. Quiet. Reflection.

And then the conversation resumed a bit more. Again, they spoke of simple things. Our channel then asked the young girl about her family. It was as though the front door to their home had just been opened and the intimacy of a family with all its own personal history was revealed.

The young woman said that her father had died several years before and as the oldest child it was her responsibility to care for her Mother and her youngest sister. Her Mother never recovered from the death of her Father and was always ill and as of late was in some sort of accident rendering her immobile. Her sister was only 12 and it would be the young girl's responsibility to care for her sister in every way and make sure her sister received an education.

Our channel continued peering into the young girl's home and the young girl kept speaking and then suddenly she said "oh Madame, I can not talk with you any more." Our channel said, "This must be very difficult for you in your life." The young girl said "Oh yes, every day I meditate and pray------"

At that moment time and words seemed to suspend and in her mind, as our channel finished the young girl's sentence. She thought the girl would say, I pray for help, I pray for my Mother to be well, I pray for a better paying job, I pray that something will fix this, I pray for a solution. That is what our channel thought the girl would say.

Instead the girl said, "Every day I meditate and pray that I may have the Divine qualities to be able to assume my responsibilities."

Again, pause. Quiet. Reflection.

With that the girl walked away and our channel looked at her partner and said "what just happened?" They never saw the young girl again over the next couple days. They went to the massage center a day or so later when they were leaving to say good-bye and she was no where to be found.

A month later and the girl's words still linger in our channel's mind. "I pray that I may have the Divine qualities------." A saint spoke through a young girl one day.

In your culture you are taught to find the solution. Fix it. Heal it. Manifest it. Do it quickly and here are the secrets to the fix. Here's how you get what you want. Here's the pill or the magic bullet that solves everything. Have you noticed how the need to solve something just goes from one thing you need to another? And as long as things keep getting fixed and you keep finding the instant solution for your issues, you are ok. You are on track. But when they don't go ok you feel lost, unstable, and unsure.

At that point, there is a tendency to feel you are "off" or defeated or making some sort of mistake. When really, this is just an opportunity to develop the qualities needed to get you over this bump in the road, while the solutions are finding their way to you.

A quick fix will indeed solve the immediate problem. Nothing wrong with that. Sometimes that is perfect. However, developing the Divine qualities, that is the attributes of Divine consciousness will give you so much more than an immediate fix. It gives you something to work with that can last a lifetime. Cultivating a Divine attitude that can be present within your consciousness, will then serve you in all situations, empowering you to get through the challenging days of life. With this in place, you barely notice the bumps in the road.

Let's give you some examples.

Like the young girl, think of some of the responsibilities and challenges you may face in your life. They may be raising children, working at a challenging job, feeling alone, feeling no sense of direction, caring for an aging parent, trying to make ends meet and feeling like you aren't getting anywhere financially, feeling that you have no place in this world, or just feeling overwhelmed by life in general. This list can be rather long.

Now take a look at some of the attributes or attitudes of the Divine consciousness. We are referring to the field of energy, a frequency vibration that fills your consciousness and moves and grooves your life. It is really a state of being from which you can walk your path.

Take a look at the list of Divine qualities and see which ones of these do you need to cultivate in your life in order to keep walking your path gracefully and whole heartedly, while assuming your responsibilities.

*Patience – Patience is not waiting, closing down or despondency. It is rather a steady movement of energy which rises to meet all opportunities and has you pressing on. Knowing and trusting that you are aligned to Divine timing, generates more patience. Knowing that what you are building in your awareness, you are building for an eternity, cultivates patience. Patience allows the mystery of how things will turn out and nutures a sense of adventure. Now is next as you live in eternity and act in the present.

*Faith –The Divine quality or attitude of faith, goes very well with patience. Faith is the builder of the seemingly impossible. Faith reminds you that there is a design or divine plan and that you are a part of it. Faith takes you to a place of unshakable knowing. This then becomes the foundation of your consciousness upon which you build greatness. Faith is primal substance commanded to manifested form. Let there be light! It becomes the evidence and the proof of things unseen at the moment. Faith lets you leap. Faith leads you to gratitude.

*Surrender – Surrender is active, not passive. It is a fundamental knowing that the highest possibility is manifesting in every moment, and you are flowing with it. Non attachment to outcome or the way you think it should be, because (with faith) you know the perfection is manifesting. Surrender comes from a profound awareness of the very nature of being and a deep acceptance of what is. Surrender is giving up control, but not giving up. It is yielding to the aspect of your being that knows you are a part of the perfect design. Surrender is a continuous moment of harmony and creation in movement. Surrender brings illumination.

*Courage – Courage is the Divine attitude that moves you to action through soul generated power. There are no what if's or maybes, just the forward focused light force directed by your spirit. Your emotional body may feel fear or frustration but your spiritual body will override the input and direct the current of movement in spite of it. Thus you face your fear and frustration and do what is next to do. Courage is always motivated by love. A love of your purpose, your life and engaging in it. Courage is what it takes to get up every morning when sometimes you feel there is nothing to get up for. Courage has you not seek the quick fix but rather, make a commitment to your path and seek what gives you staying power.

*Power – Power is really love. That is, loving who you have been and that which you are becoming so much, that you empower it to emerge. There is nothing more powerful in the universe than your own spirit. The purpose of your power is co-creation with the universe. When you are in true power, you always co-create the highest for yourself and your world. True power is knowing you are connected to spirit, a part of something bigger than yourself, that you are always guided and supported. The greatest power you have is the power of choice.

*Wisdom – Wisdom joins a calm intellect with a pure open heart to always see things and seek the highest understanding of those things. When challenges present themselves, wisdom will put no blame outside but will seek understanding of the self. Wisdom will have you discern when/where/how and if to make a change, a course correction and will do so without judgment or positioning around an attachment. Wisdom lives in each of you. Wisdom is the knowledge you have gained, made practical and realized through your experience.

*Peace –In peace consciousness you do not resolve the conflict or challenge. You "allow" what is in the now, look to see what is yours to do next, spiritualize it with the presence of the Divine and engage with the flow. Solutions find their way to you. In fact, in peace consciousness, you live in the solution. It is a heightened state of awareness. That is why they say "the peace that passes understanding." It is illumination.

*Love –Love is light. Light is life. Life is God. God is you. Love is a state of being expressing itself through your heart and emotions. Love is the vibration that attracts, harmonizes and unites all together. Love asks nothing of you. It does not ask you to give up anything but rather it invites everything you value into its embrace. It is acceptance, allowance and wholeness. Lovingly take a stand for what you value and believe. Love loves to work with power, creation and joy. Love is so powerful, it commands creation into manifestation.

*Creation – You are creators of realities, not victims of circumstances looking for the quick fix. In fact, you are creation itself. Creation is forward movement through transformation. Creation works with your perceptions. Your perceptions decide your beliefs. How you perceive and believe will determine how you receive. (How you experience something.) Hence, you have just created your reality. Creation is evolution. Things must shift and change in order to create evolution. Creation is more than manifesting what you want. You are creation itself in that, it and you is boundless energy of light. There really is no individual consciousness, only the isness, infinity. Creation is a very big story.

*Oneness –This is sacred communion as you see the Divine in all things. This is universal consciousness. The Divine quality of oneness will have you wrap a thought of the Divine around every moment, every circumstance, every person and every thought. This spiritualizes your life and therefore spiritualizes matter. Spiritualizing matter is the illuminated body of light—all that is. Oneness brings about a true awareness of the soul. Once you tap into that, the natural expression is to share this ecstatic joy with others and service is then born. This Divine quality also takes you into wholeness and allows grace to fall upon every aspect of your life, making each moment brand new. Because oneness is the whole, it is generous. It gives and gives and gives. Can you honestly receive all that it has to give?

Each one of these Divine qualities is a discussion of its own. Each one is a teaching and even a path. Did you know that the Ascended Masters, who walked before you, would come to a lifetime to develop just one of these qualities? One lifetime, to learn a little something about wisdom or faith. And here you are, the Masters this time, cultivating and culminating all of these Divine qualities into one life. It takes a moment. It takes various experiences to provide the platform for your discoveries. This is your path this time around.

Now, once again, think about the challenges in your life right now. Of all these qualities or attitudes of Divine consciousness, what do you need to cultivate the most to help you through this challenge?

Take that Divine attribute into your meditations and prayers. Take it into your heart and your mind. Discuss it with a friend so that you might be inspired to a greater understanding of it. And then, apply it to your situation. Let that thought of the Divine quality wrap itself around and weave itself through your situation.

What you learn through this experience will serve you forever, for an eternity. It is worth the commitment to seek understanding. It is worth the experiences to set themselves up for your illumination. And with that understanding and illumination, spiritualize your life. Hold it. Keep it for eternity. This is your path. Your path is not a series of quick fixes. It is intended to be a beautiful long, winding graceful journey. It is filled with inspirations, magic and solutions.
